And in Zaandam a complete warehouse was built on a raised floor for fasteners only. But thanks to the installation of new racking, all in-stock castings such as percussion rails, monoblocs, prall plates, cones, etc. have all the space they need and there is even room for more. Let's just call it the so-called Ikea effect, overview and accessibility prove time and again to be crucial for fast delivery. Paul de Grijs (Operations Director) does not hide his vision of the future let alone theorise: 'In fact, the warehouse project is not quite finished yet and the question is: will it ever reach that stage?
